We recently completed this major kitchen remodel in Somerville. Being a pretty eclectic and awesome location so close to the city, it reflects a funky urban atmosphere with a bit of personality. Blue cabinets, green and white back-painted glass walls, a bit of open floating shelving, and some sleek white counters are a few of the standout features that the space displays now.

can make a pretty big impact!

SS6 The shape of the condo’s kitchen is an L shape, and one of the objectives was to create a better flow of space while keeping the existing footprint. We accomplished this largely by relocating the refrigerator in to the corner, and shifting over the stove on it’s original wall, lengthening the counter space available. Many custom storage solutions were integrated in to the cabinet design as well, like utensil and knife storage, a large pull out spice rack (this client loves to cook!), and a wine rack for their wine collection.

Low-profile light switches, outlets, and dimmers maintain a sleek attractive look against the sheet glass backsplashes:

The client is thrilled with the transformation, and so are we! Win-win situation.

What do you think? Would you choose blue cabinets? We’re in love with them!
