SALES & MARKETING MANAGER

This position requires some familiarity with design & construction and a strong interest in helping people solve their space problems!  Experience with sales, managing websites, creating marketing campaigns, and using Customer Relationship Management (CRM) programs are all needed to be successful at this job.

  • Executive and time management skills
  • Ability to coordinate multiple functions of lead generation, lead qualification, and direct sales of our services to prospective clients
  • Willingness to learn marketing and sales methods and to train additional staff on these, with a strong interest in providing a top-notch customer service experience
  • Must have a vehicle and be willing to travel to prospective clients’ homes for consultations and follow-up sales interviews
  • Able to work both independently and as a team member to generate sales, always ensuring the project is the right fit for the client and the company, so everyone wins
  • Experience with MS Office Suite and familiarity with SharePoint and Infusionsoft

The Sales and Marketing Manager is often the first point of contact for our clients, and this person needs to be caring, curious, interested in discovering how NEDC can best fulfill the prospective clients’ vision for their ideal home, and persistent in following up on and documenting details of the remodeling project so these are well-communicated to the rest of the team.

DESIGNERS

Have you always been interested in the unified approach of the Design – Build process? Our clients are diverse and each project offers unique design problem solving opportunities. Our integrated team of designers, estimators and construction specialists work together to reach the highest and best result for each client. 

We are seeking team oriented individuals who can create award winning designs and help to grow our business from $5 Million to $15 Million over the next 3-5 years. 

The job of the Designer is to “Lift Spirits with Spaces” by developing a build-able design through our Complete Planning process, fulfilling the client’s vision of how their space will best serve their needs.

Some of the skills required for this job are:

  • Excellent design aesthetic with creative solutions to space challenges
  • Proficient in the use of Auto-CAD, SketchUp; familiarity with Revit is a plus
  • Able to handle multiple projects concurrently to meet project demands
  • Able to work well in a team setting and willing to collaborate and follow a successful system
  • Familiarity with materials and methods utilized in residential construction
  • Some wood frame construction and residential remodeling experience
  • Experience in selections, modeling, documentation and detailing knowledge
  • Client management experience, with excellent communication and inter-personal relationship skills
  • Open to learning and willing to train to improve and increase performance skills
  • MS Office Suite and familiarity with SharePoint and Office 365 preferred
  • Must be a self-starter and willing to take full responsibility for creating a positive client experience that meets and exceeds expectations

PRODUCTION MANAGER

The requirements for the position are:

  • 5 years of experience residential construction preferred
  • 5 years in a management role preferred
  • Demonstrated time management and organizational skills
  • Self-starter with desire to learn and improve system and process
  • Passionate about Design Build
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook. Strong skills in Excel preferred.
  • Design experience a plus
  • Project or construction management experience a plus

 

Experience or familiarity with the following aspects of residential design and construction:

  • Building code. IRC (International residential building code)
  • Building permit requirements, submittals and approvals
  • Construction contracts
  • Creation, submittal and execution of RFP’s (request for proposal) and RFI’s (request for information) in coordination with subcontractors, vendors, and other industry design professionals. 
  • Construction financials related to project budgets 
  • Construction document reading and review 
  • Estimating and plan take-offs of construction materials, equipment and finishes
  • Construction administration related to change orders, budgets, specifications, scope of work and sub-contracts.
  • Drafting detailed Scope of Work documents related to various categories of building construction
  • Negotiation and execution of sub-contracts or trade and vendor sub-contracts.
  • Building systems, practices and methods.
  • Direct construction site involvement via Project or construction management
  • Construction scheduling and logistics including Gantt charts
  • Inspection, documentation and analysis of residential homes
  • Estimating of construction projects, budgets and components in various phases of design and planning. 
  • Maintaining excellent relationships with subcontractors and vendors
  • Managing multiple projects and project deliverables concurrently
  • Coordination with staff designers, staff project managers, company personnel and clientele.

PROJECT MANAGERS

New England Design & Construction is looking for an experienced Construction Project Manager to join our growing team. This position is responsible for overseeing 2-4 high-end residential remodeling projects and will be managing subcontractors as well as a team carpenter.

The job of the Project Manager is to execute high-quality construction projects that are completed on time and budget, all while maintaining the quality of life of our clients.

Some of the skills required for the job are:

  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Ability to read and interpret construction documents and specifications
  • Familiarity with materials and methods utilized in residential construction, with at least 5 years of construction field experience
  • Must be self-motivated and willing to follow a successful system
  • Professional attitude with a desire to deliver a high-quality result
  • Ability to manage clients, subcontractors, carpenters and vendors
  • Ability to manage a budget and time schedule commitments
  • Strong communication skills
  • Must have a valid driver’s license and clean driving record and own vehicle
  • Literacy in Microsoft Word, Excel and Project Management applications
