Sales Consultant


 

Salary: $65,000-$70,000

Officially entitled DesignBuild Consultant, this position requires experience in RESIDENTIAL REMODELING DESIGN and a strong interest in helping people solve their space problems! The duties of this position include delivering Design Consultations to prospective clients, giving them both design and cost feedback. You will be assisting with these consultations to start, and the CEO will be consulting the prospective clients virtually. This will be done while you learn the role to be able to do the consultations on your own. Experience with sales and using Customer Relationship Management (CRM) programs are needed to be successful at this job.

Responsibilities:

  • Executive and time management skills
  • Great communication skills
  • Experienced in Residential Design & Construction
  • Ability to coordinate multiple functions of lead generation, lead qualification, and direct sales of our services to prospective clients.
  • Willingness to learn marketing and sales methods, with a strong interest in providing a top-notch customer service experience
  • Sales data collection
  • Daily sales pre-qualification calls
  • Must have a vehicle and be willing to travel to prospective clients’ homes for Design Consultations and follow-up sales interviews
  • Able to work both independently and as a team member to generate sales, always ensuring the project is the right fit for the client and the company, so everyone wins
  • Experience with MS Office Suite and familiarity with SharePoint and Hubspot a plus
  • Flexible schedule to accommodate client meeting times

As with all NEDC positions, excellent customer service is a priority. Thrilled clients who refer their friends is the ultimate objective. The DesignBuild Consultant is often the first point of contact for our clients, and this person needs to be caring, curious, interested in discovering how NEDC can best fulfill the prospective clients’ vision for their ideal home, and persistent in following up on and documenting details of the remodeling project so these are well-communicated to the rest of the team.
