By nature, remodeling is invasive into the private lives of our clients. As wonderful as we are, there will be days when you’re going to wish nobody was in your home. We want you to feel comfortable with and enjoy the people that you’ll come in contact with daily, so here is a quick introduction to our team members.
David Supple- Chief Executive Officer
David is a graduate of Tufts University with a degree in architecture. In California, he trained as an architect for three years, designing, directing, and managing 50- 100,00 square foot renovations. He founded New England Design & Construction in 2005 and became incorporated in 2006, and rapidly expanded the company to servicing the Greater Boston Area. He is an aspiring comedian but currently he only practices with his wife.
Linda Doering - Chief Financial Officer and Office Manager
Linda joined the company in January of 2016. She and her husband moved to New England in 1992 from El Paso, Texas. Linda has extensive experience in accounting, internal audit, rates, ethics, compliance for electric/gas utilities, and interstate gas pipelines. She has a Bachelor of Arts in Mathematics from Texas Christian University, studied accounting at the University of Texas at El Paso and earned an MBA from Northeastern University. In her rare spare time, Linda enjoys reading novels and traveling. Her go to place for a winter vacation would be the warm and beautiful, Caribbean islands.
Daniel Tassinari – Operations Manager
Dan has been in the construction related trade industry for over 16 years. He is trained in residential remodeling, restoration carpentry and home building. Being a licensed contractor and working under experienced builders allowed him to run projects, crews and expand further into the building field. He has founded multiple companies designing and building his own projects within a diverse range. NEDC initially hired him to produce built in work and custom cabinetry, and after several successful years, Dan joined the team as a Lead Carpenter and executed many successful projects since. He holds a MA CSL, HIC, is a NARI Certified Lead Carpenter, has RRP certification, and OSHA 10.
Jamaal Siddiqui - Design Director
Jamaal is an award winning graduate of the Boston Architectural College with a degree in architecture. He has been chasing his dream of becoming a successful and well rounded designer from early childhood. He has over a decade of experience of working on residential, commercial and religious projects at an architectural firm. His thirst for design lead him to do multiple award winning design + build projects in his spare time. When he is not designing he is traveling the world with his wife and annoying her with architectural facts about the area.
Grady Ragsdale - Senior Designer
Grady’s architectural and building experience has been gained from over thirty years in the design and construction industry. He earned his architectural license in 1996 and has worked on a variety of commercial and residential projects for offices located in Maine, New York City, Philadelphia, and Boston. The focus of his work has been in the single-family and multi-family residential markets, from public funded, affordable housing, to high-rise luxury condominiums. He recently completed design & construction on his vacation house in Maine where he joined the construction team to fully appreciate what it means to take a project through all phases of development. Grady spends his free time traveling the world with his wife, playing music with his friends, and catching up with his three children.
Joe Wood - Designer
With the last name Wood it’s no coincidence that Joe ended up in the building/ designing realm. After gaining 7+ years of experience in sustainable residential construction, from earthwork to applying the final finishes, he attended Norwich University to get a M.Arch. It was at Norwich that he was offered the opportunity to get his hands dirty on a design-build project that ended up winning an AIA Peoples Choice Award. Since that collaboration, he has worked with various firms and construction companies while balancing his passions for travelling, mountain biking, or anything the outdoors has to offer.
Andrew Shelburne - Designer
Andrew Shelburne started working full time in traditional architecture firms in 2005 and has 15 years of diverse experience designing bridges, train stations, train maintenance facilities, college and university buildings, dining halls, healthcare spaces, labs and custom residential homes. Andrew specializes in conceptual design and firmly believes a space or building’s design should be inspired by ideas and concepts beyond given goals regarding function and comfort. Andrew has a professional degree in architecture and aspires to take the architect registration examination to obtain his architectural license. Outside of work Andrew enjoys spending time with his family, renovating his 1850’s Greek Revival Style House in Boston and being an active member of his neighborhood.
Josh LaPan - Construction Manager
Josh joined the NEDC team with a strong background in skilled carpentry and leadership roles in the retail world. He started in October 2016 as a Project Manager in Training, growing into a Project Manager in early 2017, and transitioning into the Construction Manager by late summer. Josh has both an active Home Improvement Contractor license and Construction Supervisor License. In his free time, he coaches soccer and little league!
Ryan Hayes – Project Manager
Ryan has been with NEDC since March of 2014 as a Lead Carpenter. He learned the carpentry trade from his father as a kid, but has been doing it professionally since 1999. His biggest inspiration is his family and his friends, and his sunny disposition lights up the office every time he comes in. He is a NARI Certified Lead Carpenter, and in 2016 moved in to a position as a Project Manager.
Aaron Newell - Project Manager
Aaron is a Massachusetts native with almost ten years of experience in the residential and commercial construction industry in frame to finish carpentry, as well as 6 years of electrical experience. He attended Wentworth Institute of Technology and graduated with a degree in Construction Management. In his free time, you can find him woodworking, working on cars or motorcycles, and spending his time by the lake.
Ryan Manhoff - Assistant Brand Manager
Ryan comes to NEDC from a diverse sales and marketing background. After completing his undergraduate degree at Boston University in Hospitality Administration, he spent a few years working in both catering and software sales. Inspired by his family’s recent relocation from Pennsylvania to Florida, and the design-build projects that they have undertaken in the process, he decided to take his eye for Hospitality design/customer service, and make the transition into the Design and Construction Industry. In his free time, he can be found either watching football, playing trivia in Dorchester, or fishing on the nearest pond.
Suzie Dupre - Assistant Office Manager
Suzie joins the NEDC team with an extensive background in administration, communication and education. She is a great team member and has over a decade of experience catering to the exact needs and wants of clients she has serviced in the above three fields. She operates out of a passion to help others and a desire to always deliver the ne plus ultra in service. When she is not working, you can find her spending quality time with her two young nephews.
Gary Brown – Carpenter
Gary joined our team in September 2015 as an invaluable member of our carpentry team. Gary completed the Keefe Technical Post Graduate Program for Carpentry, and has been in the carpentry and remodeling field since high school. His attention to detail and immersion in his craft are what drew us to him, and his solid dependability and quality help him excel at NEDC.
Gustavo Osorio- Carpenter
Gustavo studied in Cali Colombia at a technical and industrial school. At a very early age, his parents noticed his interest in building and encouraged him to develop this skill. He has spent much of his time in New England although he has also lived in Florida. Gustavo has 16 years of experience in the remodeling and construction industries. He specializes in carpentry and has worked hard to learn and put in practice all his skills. He has successfully completed a great variety of jobs, from small residential to large commercial projects. He truly enjoys his job and seeks to continuously improve his skills. When he is on the job, he likes things done right; “quality and satisfaction” is his motto. Gustavo is a family man, he loves his wife and kids and treasures spending time with them. All his hard work and effort is dedicated to the future and well being of his family. Some of his hobbies include traveling, swimming, mountain biking and one day he would like to skydive. It’s on his bucket list!
Brianna Torres - Design Intern
Isabella Yepez - Marketing Intern
Isabella is a Marketing and Entrepreneurship student at Bentley University. She has an international background as she was born in Ecuador and recently completed a study abroad program in Spain. She intends to use her knowledge and experience gained at NEDC to become a professional in Digital Marketing and Innovation. She also aims to apply her skills in Marketing and Advertising to future projects and operations within her career at NEDC. She enjoys traveling the most and during her free time she likes to cook all types of cuisines and bake all kinds of desserts.
