Hey everyone, thought I would share some quick last minute Thanksgiving holiday design tips!

Here are some quick projects that me and some of the younger members of the family are doing to prepare for Thursdays!

Just like the article I wrote about in the Christmas lights article. The entry of your house should be welcoming and inviting. You don’t need to put up any kind of lights but maybe consider a autumn like wreath! Its kind of cute, my nephews been gathering pieces of leaves and making their own reefs with glue so you don’t need to do anything fancy

Besides some kind of reef you should try decorating the entry way! If you have some time you can lots of cool stuff with some stacks of hay and pumpkins and kind of arrange your own design. Again we got the idea of the reefs from here but typically you would use a metal wire to make it. Decorate the doorway can be very beautiful and unique but could take some time. If you don’t have too much time on your hands I would suggest arranging small and large pumpkins around the doorway. What we ended up doing was making a sign with leaves ” Welcome”. It didn’t take long and because you’re using leaves the autumn leaves looks very nice. And then we placed small pumpkins along our steps for some added features.

The next part took me longer, not that it was hard, but it took more thought process….. The dreaded centerpiece and the dining setting…

So what’s nice is the typical dining table made out of wood, I love the natural look to wood so I keep it as it is without any kind of tablecloth. Then I place red place mats down and what the kids are working on are some leaves place mats. Took some leaves and placed it on a piece of paper. I swear they just wanted to glue leaves…

Try utilizing as much autumn colors as possible, your reds, orange, brown, and some green… As for your centerpiece… We kind of got lazy and stuck a medium sized pumpkin in the middle =D but I think ill end up decorating some candle pieces around to brighten up the table.

Here are some other good examples
