The NEDC Design Process: How We Specify Kitchen Appliances

At New England Design & Construction we do high-end and luxury architectural design build across Boston and MetroWest. We are now based at 342 Bedford Street in Lexington! As we celebrate our 21st birthday as a company, we wanted to take you into our design process and share how we specify kitchen fixtures and appliances with our clients.

At NEDC we utilize a unique 10 step process to achieve complete planning as well as a full artisan build. Each project is unique to the client yet our process remains a pillar of our system and has helped us achieve consistent and increasing success over the years. We are not perfect–but we can strive for perfection and we do.

We offer a full service experience from initial client concept through the last nail of artisan build–followed by a five year warranty on our work.

Visiting showrooms and selecting appliances and fixtures with our clients is something we do routinely–it comes under point 4 of our process: Design Development.
