Increased Value!

In times where the media is portraying things to be bad and getting worse it is good to know one’s most important material asset – their home, has a tradition of steady and consistent appreciation over time.

Adding immediate value to a home, as well as increasing its subsequent appreciation is something Hill CraftsMen’s take pride in accomplishing on every project.  We are aware of the importance of your home as an asset; and design and construct with that in mind.

Results have recently been achieved by 2 Hill CraftsMen clients who sold their homes.  One of these projects was featured on the front page of the Real Estate section of the Boston Herald!

Both clients commented on how Hill CraftsMen services helped increase the value of their homes.

So despite the doom & gloom we are subjected to daily – there is still hope!

In the REMODELING magazines COST vs. VALUE REPORT 2008-09 they give hard facts about the success of   increasing property value through various upgrades in your home.

Energy efficiency improvements offer some of the greatest return on your investment:

“Any energy-efficient feature that will save a buck, make a home more comfortable and, for some, fulfill a green dream is high on both buyers’ and sellers’ lists.”

Additional good news from the report: “prices in neighborhoods such as Beacon Hill, Back Bay, and South End are either holding their own or gaining modestly… especially if they renovate in the key kitchen and bathroom areas.”

Hill CraftsMen has you and your friends and family’s interests in mind.  We value your trust in us to do the right thing, and we appreciate the opportunity to help you plan and execute the increased value and comfort of your home.

Preserving History

Two members of Hill CraftsMen LLC proudly volunteered to help put on the Washington Gateway Main Street’s gala fundraiser on Nov. 12th.  The event gave the attendees the opportunity to support the organization that has spearheaded the efforts to develop Washington Street in the South End and Lower Roxbury since its designation as a Boston Main Street (part of the National Main Street Center – a non-profit organization with the purpose to preserve America’s diverse historic places and achieve neighborhood revitalization).

We were happy to help serve a group that aligns with our goal to help preserve & uplift the environment.

The event organizers did an excellent job and the fundraiser was a great success.  You can learn more about the organization at: www.gatewaymainstreet.org
