This is great if you have a broken mirror that you just can’t use anywhere else in your home. Don’t be afraid to take a hammer and break it even more. You can shatter it until you have small pieces of glass or leave the glass in bigger sizes; its all up to you! Make sure you do not get injured during this process, wear protective gear such as gloves or glasses to protect your eyes and face. It sounds silly, but you do not want to get hurt! After you break the glass and spread it out in the area you’re working on, just add polyurethane. This will create an amazing broken glass floor you can walk on!

                                                                                COIN FLOORING:

We all know flooring can be costly, but with this project you’ll be spending pennies instead of dollars. And by pennies I mean every penny, you’ve ever saved.. Hundreds of pennies.. This floor looks pricey, but it is actually very affordable. The only thing it will cost is a big chunk of time. Not only is it a unique idea for flooring but it can easily be done with the help of friends and family. The steps are easy. All you do is line up the change, one by one, and then when ready add your grout mixed with water and spread over the floor. You can even use nickels and dimes to create patterns between the pennies; with options being endless. After it sets (about 2-3 days), wipe any excess grout off the floor and apply epoxy sealant. You want to make sure the entire floor is covered evenly. It could take another 2-3 days for the sealant to dry, but when completed you’ll have one shiny penny floor to walk on!
