Major Kitchen Remodel in Newton

We recently transformed our clients’ kitchen into a modern, functional space while maintaining the home’s traditional aesthetic. The project aimed to update an outdated, cramped kitchen, which lacked flow and style, making it difficult for our clients to entertain and cook daily.

We approached the project with a clear understanding of our clients’ needs and tastes. Our primary focus was to improve the kitchen’s functionality and flow, creating a welcoming space that could serve as the heart of their home. To achieve this, we removed a wall to open the kitchen to the dining room, enhancing the connection between the two spaces. This change, along with the installation of a large island, provided much-needed counter space and storage, making meal preparation and hosting more efficient.

Our design incorporated traditional elements to match the rest of the home while modernizing the overall look. We chose white shaker-style cabinets with crown molding, paired with wood plank-style tile flooring, to offer a timeless yet fresh feel. We prioritized durability and ease of maintenance, selecting quartz countertops and a large farmhouse-style Blanco apron sink to ensure practicality for everyday use.

We integrated high-end appliances seamlessly into the design, including a Wolf cooktop and wall oven, a Bosch fridge, and a Beko drawer microwave. To cater to our clients’ love for entertaining, we added a dedicated wine fridge and a small bar area. Enhanced lighting, including recessed and under-cabinet lights, and decorative pendant lights, improved the space’s ambiance and functionality.

Our clients’ kitchen renovation successfully addressed their concerns and transformed their kitchen into a functional, beautiful space. The design harmonizes with the home’s traditional character while offering a modern touch, perfectly blending the old with the new.
